Atlas a liar, Duffield a scammer, Coinjoin broken, Darkcoin not anonymous?

I keep reading about this again and again and again and again. Right now after I linked the deepdotweb article, some guy (Nekomata, he loves another coin which claims pure anonymity.) on bitcointalk totally lost his mind and started calling Atlas a liar, Duffield a scammer and Darkcoin totally broken. If you guys came across such accusations, here are some arguments based on facts that could help you to turn the discussion to your favour.
Is Duffield a scammer? No! Darkcoin is one of the few coins with devs which do not hide behind new forum accounts or pseudonyms. He also keeps developing innovation which is of high value for all cryptos, including bitcoin. darkcoin.io/meetteam.html
Did Duffield create that instamine on purpose to rip us off? No! It's proven (and can be looked up at the blockchain anytime) that the instamine was fast and fairly distributed and not collected by the devs or other insiders. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778616
Why is it closed source then? Will Duffield hack my computer? No! Darksend is closed source during the development phase to avoid publishing vulnerable code. Nobody is forced to use the closed RC-clients as there is a fully working open source version on github available. In addition, the source code will be release after careful security and code review on Sept/29/29014. github.com/darkcoinproject/darkcoin
Is Atlas a liar and Darkcoin pumper? No! Kristov Atlas is a well known privacy and security researcher who was one of the first guys proving coinjoin vulnerable. Saying he does not know what he does mainly shows people have no idea what they type. coinjoinsudoku.com/advisory
CoinJoin, as used in Darkcoin, does NOT bring full Anonymity!!1 No! The linked 3 pages PDF (outdated by 4 months of development by the way) is a joke. It concludes from "let's try", "very likely", "very likely", "very likely", to "strong evidence" and "it has been shown". This paper was at the time of writing (May/31/2014) not proving anything and is today not relevant anymore as the analysed code was removed from the darkcoin core client on Aug/13/2014 with RC4. For serious weaknesses in Darksend it's worth to look at the research by Atlas. darkcointalk.org/threads/reply-to-kristovs-paper.2325
But masternodes are centralized, FAIL!!!!11ß No! Masternodes are nodes connected via peer-to-peer-protocol and everyone is able to create his own masternode. That's pure decentralization by definition. A centralized node would be a single point of failure and could be taken down by an ISP, government, etc. That's not the case here though. wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer-to-peer
If you come across anything else, please let me know and we get the facts straight. With the upcoming source code release we should start cleaning up the fears, certainties and doubts.

My thought on Bitcoin in the Beltway after Sunday

Continuation of previous topic.
So today was a shorter day. I missed some presentation times since I was preparing for my own panel.
I attended a part of the "Digital Currencies vs. the Empire". Early on Angela Keaton was sharing her stories about how government was illegally surveying her Antiwar.com company.
I couldn't stay for the whole talk as I wanted to catch the Maidsafe presentation. Unfortunately, that was a waste as they were a no-show. Oh well.
Afterwards I attended "Fear Not the Silk Road" by Kristov Atlas. He talked about Silk Road decreasing the amount of violent crimes, as well as empowering anyone to make their own business using highly-anonymous technoligies, such as Open Bazaar. All in all, soon relatively cheap technologies will be able to empower the people in oppressive regimes.
Next up, Chris Odom of Open Transactions talked about his project. He and his team moved to Switzerland to be able to develop truly free software. The platform is gaining more and more features as they integrate more and more elements from Namecoin and Bitmessage. The talk was really brief and to the point.
The next talk I attended was on "Bitcoin in Space" by Jeff Garzik, where he talked about putting small cubesat satellites onto low earth orbit and using them to put full Bitcoin nodes in space. This would allow anyone around the world be able to synchronize their clients even in an event of local Internet being shut down. It really looks like an interesting project, even if the practical applications might be limited.
The main presentation of the day was "How Blockchain Technology Can Mend the Broken Nonprofit Sector" by M.K. Lords, Andreas, Davi Barker and Jason King, where they talked about nonprofits and Bitcoin. Overall, the consensus is that it is easier for nonprofits to accept Bitcoin donations than credit card donations, but despite that there are few Bitcoin charities. A number of charities are also skewing their mission statement to be in line with some grant requirements. Andreas jokingly suggested that if Jason redefined his mission statement from feeding the homeless of Pensacola, to "dropping food onto homeless from planes in Pensacolastan", he would get a lot of government funding ;). It was also mentioned that Bitcoin might be an only option for some charities to even exist - for example if you have a charity for women in oppressed countries where it is impossible for them to even have bank accounts, they have no other way of receiving donations. All in all, Bitcoin is a great solution for the charities.
The day concluded with a talk by me and David Lowy on "The Singularity of Money" replacing Cody Wilson that couldn't make it today. We talked about how in the future the currency won't matter, only the value. Instead of seeing a single world currency, we will probably be seeing a number of easily exchangeable currencies being used. Crypto 2.0 systems will be integral in making this happen.
Overall, the day was less eventful than yesterday, probably because a lot of people have already left to attend a conference in China. It was still interesting.

[Meetup] Cold Storage Tutorial on 11/19

We will meet up at the Rite Aid at 2301 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA. At exactly 6:30pm, we will walk 1 block over to the Wharton space. Arrive at Rite Aid early. The building requires the security pass of a Wharton student, so to ensure that you have access to the building, arrive at Rite Aid around 6:15pm.
The reserved room is intended to seat 12 people, but we can surely squeeze several more in as well.
Kristov Atlas, author of an upcoming book on Bitcoin and anonymity, will be giving a tutorial on Bitcoin cold storage. Cold storage is, in short, a way of storing bitcoins so that they are "offline" and impervious to theft by hackers or malware. This is the recommended method for keeping your Bitcoin savings safe.
