I had a design idea with Moonshine wallet that was missing just 1 feature: adding Bitcoin Core Fee Helper to the slider to always know what fee to pick.

As in keeping with putting my used things on the curb for anyone who wants to pick it up, here is a wallet made of 12 words. I no longer need it. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce waste.
Cheers. It is a perfectly good wallet. I passed plenty of transactions through it, including one full bit coin from a sweep of cold storage. Enjoy. I give to you, so I won't be tempted to use it ever agin. cheers. U can do what ever you want with it.

Do you gents recommend storing BTC in the legacy or segwit wallets on the Nano S for long term hodling? The Ledger bitcoin wallet for Chrome recommends the segwit wallet, which is what I chose, but keen to know if there are any negatives to picking segwit over legacy?

New to bitcoin. Trying to pick a hardware wallet to get my money off of the exchange. Advice welcome.

Just recently started buying some fractional bitcoin and judging from the advice on this sub it's a good idea to get it off of the exchange and find a better storage solution. I don't have a huge amount or deep pockets, so I'm trying to find a cheaper hardware wallet. I'm mainly debating between OpenDime and HW.1/Nano (non S). My concern with the OpenDime is that it seems to be geared more towards giving bitcoin to someone else rather than storage. My concern with the low level Ledger options is that according to Ledger's website they are both discontinued, which leaves me wondering why. Any advise would be appreciated.

Does anyone know for sure that these wallets aren’t logging data and sending back?
Where would you store large value bitcoins? At this stage I guess more than 1 bitcoin?

Anti-virus picked up a bitcoin miner virus in my Electra wallet

Sorry I’m not the most computer literate person out there, but I have been trying to stake my eca on my Mac air. I noticed last week AVG quarantined a bitcoin miner virus but in the process it stoped me from opening my wallet. How do I go about removing the virus as it won’t let me delete it from quarantine? Thanks for the help in advance.
